Meet Aaron Pilcher

Aaron is an experienced trial attorney licensed to practice in state and federal courts. Aaron litigates real estate disputes, business and contract disputes, and trust and probate disputes. Aaron maintains a robust corporate practice, and clients rely on his advice for their day-to-day operations.

Aaron began his career with a heavy focus on criminal defense. Aaron has experience with national and international drug conspiracy cases in federal court. These cases are known for producing voluminous evidence. Aaron's criminal defense practice also includes gun crimes, violent crimes, and financial crimes.

Aaron was the first defense attorney for the Beadle County Drug Court program. Aaron is trained in various areas of substance use and abuse, mental health conditions, counseling methods, prescription medications, and treatment protocols.

In 2020, Aaron recognized a lack of safe housing opportunities for individuals seeking recovery from addiction. He volunteered with five other individuals to start Hope House, a non-profit sober living community in Huron. Aaron stepped aside when the home became operational.

Before practicing law, Aaron directed a statewide political campaign for the U.S. Senate. He oversaw fundraising and campaign finance matters, communications and media strategy, scheduling and event planning, GOTV (get-out-the-vote), and other emergent needs. â€‹

Aaron grew up on a hobby farm in Southern Minnesota, where he participated in sports and other activities. Aaron received his bachelors degree from Eureka College, and his law degree from the Knutson School of Law at the University of South Dakota.

Aaron lives in Huron with his family. Away from work, Aaron enjoys attending his kids events, camping, and working outside.
